Menu

Chairpersons Ed and Sue Kingzett and Mark Lindau have once again organized a five course dinner with creative James Beard award-winning chef Phillippe Boulot. With Ed at the planning table you know that we are having a chocolate dessert! The complete menu is published in this newsletter. The dinner will be paired with a white wine and a flight of eight Beaucastel wines from Chateauneuf Du Pape ranging from 1990 through 1997.

Robert Parker in his Wines of the Rhone Valley says “The fact that Beaucastel produces the longest-lived red wine of the southern Rhone is irrefutable. However, this estate also produces one of the Rhone Valley’s greatest and most distinctive wines. The wine is made by totally organic methods. No chemicals are used in the vast 272-acre vineyard located in the northernmost sector of Chateauneuf du Pape near the town of Courthezon.” Only two of the wines being poured don’t rate in the low to the mid-nineties by Robert Parker.

Each person needs to bring 6 red and 1 white wine glasses!!!

Cost: $135.00 per person members/ $145.00 for non-members
