Please join us for a delicious picnic dinner at the inviting Blakeslee Vineyard Estate with Mt. Hood looming large sixty miles to the East. The

Blakeslee Vineyard Estate, approximately 10 quick miles from Hwy 217, has been producing award-winning premium-quality Pinot Noir grapes

for over 12 years., and has proven itself as one of the premiere vineyard locations in the Chehalem Mountains. The vines are planted in a

powder volcanic soil called Laurelwood, atop a hard clay sub-soil. This unique combination of soil; Dijon and Pommard clones of Pinot Noir; and

innovative vineyard management practices has allowed winemaker, Sheri Hood, to craft award-winning Pinot Noir, Riesling and Chardonnay.

As we enjoy appetizers we may taste five wines:

2007 and 2008 Pinot Noir; 2008 Chardonnay, and 2008 and 2009 Riesling. While we are delighting in our picnic of Grilled Salmon with Cucum-

ber Dill Sauce on a bed of Couscous with Mint, Apricots and Almonds, a Fresh Fruit Salad, Dave’s Torpedo Bread, and a Raspberry Brown

Berry Butter Bar, we may drink a bottle of our favorite wine or individual glasses of our favorite wines. The wines you may want to purchase

to take home will be sold at retail less 15% regardless of the quantity.
