An Evening in Provence

 

The summer dining experience will begin on Greg and Cami Bunnell’s Outdoor Patio:

 

2008 Saint Cosme Cote du Rhone Blanc                                                          Tarte aux Tomates Sechees

(tart with oven-dried garden tomatoes and caramelized shallots)

 

2008 Saint Cosme Little James Basket Press Blanc (Vin de Pays)                      Salad de Haricots Verts

(salad with French green beans and fresh garden herbs with a crème fraiche dressing) with fresh baked bread and lavender bud butter 

 

 2007 Saint Cosme Cote Rotie                                                                          Petits Pates aux Olives

(little olive pastries with fresh goat cheese) and an assortment of marinated mushrooms

 

Then we will travel across the cul-de-sac to the Kimmer residence as the evening and courses continue with the ambience of the pastel glow of Mt. Hood in the background followed by candlelight and evening lights of the big metropolis of Tigard.

2007 Saint Cosme La Claux and                                                                       (Tian of lamb, Nice style-layered

2007 Saint Cosme Gigondas                                                                             with spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes.

The lamb will be smoked slowly using wood flavored pellets by our resident grilling/smoking self-proclaimed expert)

2007 Saint Cosme St Joseph and                                                                      (Baby hens or Cornish game hens brined

2006 Saint Cosme Chateuneuf du Pape                                                           and slow-smoked and served with a candied almond sauce) served with Les Petits Forcis (little stuffed vegetables stacks)

                                                                                                                       

Assorted French desserts and pastries (a secret trio of special treats to entice our guests) to be accompanied by Beaumalric Muscat Beaumes will be served to wrap up our dining experience.
