Craig Plainfield was the chef/owner of Plainfield’s Restaurant for 36 years until his retirement in 2012; after he sold his property to the Multnomah Athletic Club. He featured Indian cuisine in a fine dining atmosphere.

He was fortunate to receive many awards over the years including Gourmet magazines top table award, Zagat’s award of excellence and Wine Spectator’s best of award of excellence.  You may go to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzqhEVs-MBE to see a short video about the restaurant.

Please bring one bottle of wine per person that you would enjoy with the menu below. We suggest Reisling, Gewurtztraminer, Sherry, or Port.  But you can be the judge and bring anything you like; including beers.
