It's winter and what could be better on a Sunday afternoon than joining with fellow WFSO members and friends to learn how to cook a lovely warm Spanish paella. Chef Janna of Portland Paella will guide us in our hands-on culinary experience. We will do some prep work, enjoy some Spanish snacks, drink a little wine, cook our paella and enjoy the fruits of our labor for dinner. Dinner will be accompanied with a small citrus side salad and a simple Spanish dessert. Aprons and all materials needed will be provided. You will have a detailed recipe and instructions to take home so you can WOW! your family and friends with a recreation of this meal. The class will be conducted in the professional kitchen of the former French restaurant on the corner of NW Flanders and Broadway now called Kitchen Cru - 337 Northwest Broadway, Portland, OR 97209. Please bring a bottle of wine to share while cooking and with dinner. |
