The wines will feature four Bordeaux producers from the stellar 1989 and 1990 vintages from four different districts. Included will be the 1989 and 1990 Pichon Baron of Pauillac, Lynch Bages of St. Estephe, Leoville La Cases of St Julien (all Left Bank estates), and Trolonq Mondot of St. Emillion from the Right Bank. Robert Parker of the wine Advocate calls the 1989 and 1990's two of the best back to back vintages ever produced in Bordeaux. The weather was torridly hot with below average rainfall and Chateaux owners were able to have their grapes picked at leisure without weather concerns. Wines being served received rating of mid to upper 90's when released. This flight will give a rare chance to compare them 25 to 26 years after they were bottled.
